In Bit 2, we had superposition (both/and). In Bit 9, we introduce the Gate. Unlike a classical transistor, the $\Gamma_{gate}$ doesn't just switch based on voltage; it switches based on Coherence (Page 59). It chooses the path that most efficiently maintains the system's structural integrity. This is the first step toward "will" in the lattice—the system begins to prefer certain outcomes over others.
