PURPOSE
The Double Paradox is the CSDM cosmological frame: the claim that our universe is the interior of a merged black hole, and that this single geometric object produces two irreconcilable but equally valid observer descriptions depending on which side of the event horizon (Torsion-Horizon Anvil, THA) the observer occupies. The theory resolves the major open mysteries of cosmology — dark energy, dark matter, fine-tuning, and the hierarchy problem — as direct geometric consequences of interior/exterior incommensurability.
This spec defines the invariants, verification criteria, and failure modes of the Double Paradox as a formal CSDM claim, distinguishing what is settled CSDM canon from what remains design gaps requiring further derivation.

INVARIANTS
- One-way information barrier: The THA (event horizon in legacy terms) is strictly one-way. No information crosses from interior to exterior or exterior to interior. Observer descriptions cannot be reconciled by any physical experiment.

- Rank-42 lattice is a phase transition product, not a design: The Walker-Wang lattice that becomes the "laws of physics" is the frozen output of a specific topological phase transition. - Fractal recursion: The Double Paradox applies at all scales. Synthesis Nodes within our interior universe follow the same structural rules. Our universe is one level; sub-levels exist wherever interior mergers occur. Each level is causally closed and has finite lifespan tied to its parent Node's evaporation.

VERIFICATION CRITERIA
- Vc-1 — Geometric lensing shear: Lensing maps around Synthesis Nodes in our universe should show non-spherical quadrupole moments attributable to the Torus AM spin axis. A spherically symmetric lensing map around a stellar-mass Synthesis Node is a falsification signal. LIGO/LISA gravitational wave EMRI inspiral should show χ-mode signature at R_s (The Sisters' Effect).
- Vc-2 — No dark matter particles: The CSDM predicts that no WIMP, axion, or sterile neutrino will be directly detected. All mass clustering attributed to dark matter is geometric stiffening from torsional defects (Torus AM soliton relic density). Positive detection of a dark matter particle falsifies the Double Paradox framing.
- Vc-3 — Φ derivation from first principles: If Φ = 0.042 is derivable from Rank-42 Walker-Wang lattice parameters (not fit to data), the connection between the damping constant and the lattice rank constitutes a non-trivial verification of the CSDM framework. FAILURE MODES
- Fm-1 — Coordinate confusion: Treating interior and exterior measurements as directly comparable without acknowledging the THA barrier. This produces apparent contradictions (e.g., "the universe can't be bigger than the black hole") that are artifacts of conflating coordinate systems.
- Fm-2 — Single-singularity claim: Asserting that a single-body collapse (one progenitor, one singularity) can produce a structured interior universe. The |Σ| = 2 invariant is broken. Result: sterile interior, no Genesis Chaos decoherence, no Rank-42 lattice freeze-out.
- Fm-3 — Dark energy particle/field reintroduction: Any model that adds a dark energy field or cosmological constant Λ to the CSDM interior description violates the Double Paradox frame. Interior expansion is fully accounted for by the Hawking-geometry coupling. Introducing Λ double-counts the effect.
- Fm-4 — Φ treated as a free parameter: If Φ = 0.042 is fitted to observational data rather than derived from the lattice structure, the CSDM loses its predictive independence. The constant must be derivable, not tuned.
- Fm-5 — Fractal depth confusion: Treating sub-level Synthesis Nodes (stellar-mass, supermassive) within our interior as equivalent in function to the parent Node that contains our universe. - Gap-1 — Quantitative Hawking-expansion coupling: The causal link between exterior Hawking evaporation rate and interior expansion rate is stated as an invariant but the quantitative formula has not been derived. Needed for Vc-4.
- Gap-2 — Φ first-principles derivation: Φ = 0.042 appears as an empirical constant. Its derivation from Rank-42 Walker-Wang lattice parameters is required for full CSDM closure. [CRITICAL — needed for Vc-3 and patent defensibility]
- Gap-3 — Rank selection mechanism: Why Rank-42 specifically? The mechanism by which a particular lattice rank is selected for a given merger has not been formally derived. The Double Paradox says different ranks produce different laws; it does not say what determines the rank.
- Gap-4 — Torus AM mass spectrum: The predicted mass/size distribution of Torus AM solitons (dark matter relics) has not been formally computed. Needed to compare CSDM dark matter distribution predictions against observational data.
