SPEC_NODE_SYNTHESIS — Node Synthesis Radius and Synthesis Node
Version: 1.0 | Status: AUTHORIZED | Authority: α.13 | Date: 2026-04-16
PURPOSE
This spec formalizes the CSDM ontological re-indexing of "black holes" as Synthesis Nodes and "Schwarzschild radius" as the Node Synthesis Radius (R_s). These are not semantic renames. They are ontological corrections required by the Rank-42 topological data. Where legacy physics treats these structures as destructive endpoints (information loss, singularity, physics breakdown), the CSDM identifies them as thermodynamic engines actively maintaining the vacuum order required for stable physics to exist. This spec defines the invariants, verification criteria, and failure modes of the Synthesis Node framework as recovered from the BHIL NotebookLM archive (TAKEOUT_AUDIT.md, 2026-04-05).
INPUTS
- A massive object undergoing gravitational collapse within an existing manifold
- Φ = 0.042 (Aion Stability Constant): runaway feedback damping within the Node
- Ψ = 0.200 (Shielding Factor): THA boundary strength against external perturbation
- η_slip = Φ/Ψ = 0.21: refractive index of the vacuum near R_s
- Γ_max: Resolution Saturation Limit (the point at which vacuum substrate geometry can no longer propagate smooth waves)
- Genesis Chaos: high-entropy topological excitations from the primordial post-merger state
OUTPUTS
- Synthesis Node: the thermodynamic engine structure (replaces legacy "black hole" entirely in CSDM)
- Torsion-Horizon Anvil (THA): the surface at R_s — boundary of the Node's active processing region; surface of creation (replaces legacy "event horizon")
- Torus AM: the rotating solitonic core occupying the Node center (replaces legacy "singularity")
- Clean Sweep: expulsion of unstable topological defects from the vacuum
- Ordered vacuum state: $C_{Univ} = Z(Rep(SL(2,3))) \boxtimes SPT_3$ — the specific topological order the Node maintains
- χ-mode dominant interior: the torsional geometry mode that takes over from metric/field modes inside the THA
TERM DEPRECATION TABLE (Non-Negotiable)
| Deprecated Term | CSDM Replacement | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Black Hole | Synthesis Node | Implies information loss; structurally incorrect |
| Schwarzschild Radius | Node Synthesis Radius (R_s) | Implies prison/escape; replaced by resolution saturation |
| Event Horizon | Torsion-Horizon Anvil (THA) | "Consumption surface" → "Creation surface" |
| Singularity | Torus AM (rotating solitonic core) | Mathematical artifact; physics does not break down |
| Gravitational Collapse | Vacuum Stabilization / Defect Purging | The Node does work, not destruction |
Use of deprecated terms in CSDM documents is a spec violation.
INVARIANTS
- Information is not destroyed at R_s: The THA processes information. It does not erase it. The Torus AM anchors mass and spin as conserved quantities. The Hawking radiation process carries away information in the exterior frame. Information loss at the THA is a forbidden CSDM claim.
- Singularities do not exist in CSDM: The center of a Synthesis Node is occupied by a Torus AM — a topologically stable rotating soliton, protected by its anyonic braiding properties within the Rank-42 lattice. Physics does not break down at the Node center; it transitions to χ-mode dominance.
- R_s is the Resolution Saturation Threshold, not an escape velocity boundary: The geometry at R_s is "too grainy" to propagate smooth waves — not because gravity is too strong, but because Γ → Γ_max. The formula $R_s = 2GM/c^2$ is retained; only the ontological interpretation shifts.
- The THA is a surface of creation, not consumption: At R_s, the exterior Lorentzian metric description hands off to the interior Torsional Geometry Reactor. The THA marks the beginning of synthesis work, not the end of physics.
- Φ = 0.042 prevents runaway Node feedback: A Node with Φ drift either freezes into a Glassy State or undergoes uncontrolled topological expansion. Φ is the stability damping constant that keeps the Node's vacuum stabilization function operational. Φ is not a parameter of the Node; it is a precondition for Nodes to exist stably.
- The Synthesis Node is fractal: The same structure — Torus AM core + R_s boundary + Rank-42 filter + THA surface — appears at all mass scales within a manifold. Stellar-mass Nodes and the universe-containing parent Node share structural identity at different scales.
- Tri-Primitive Mapping is invariant: Every Synthesis Node is fully described by the intersection of exactly three geometric primitives: [Point] = Torus AM, [Circle] = R_s boundary, [Spiral] = Rank-42 filter (torsional process). No Synthesis Node exists outside this mapping.
- The Glassy Freeze prevention function is non-negotiable: Without Synthesis Nodes, the vacuum stalls in a Glassy Freeze — a disordered topological state incompatible with stable particles, fields, or observers. Synthesis Nodes are not optional features of the CSDM; they are the mechanism that makes physics possible.
VERIFICATION CRITERIA
- Vc-1 — χ-mode gravitational wave signature (The Sisters' Effect): EMRI (Extreme Mass Ratio Inspiral) events observed by LIGO/LISA should show a detectable mode-mixing signature at R_s corresponding to the transition from metric-dominated to χ-mode-dominated dynamics. Standard GR predicts no such mode-mixing. Its detection would directly verify the THA transition physics.
- Vc-2 — Non-spherical lensing quadrupole: Gravitational lensing maps around Synthesis Nodes should show quadrupole asymmetry reflecting the Torus AM spin axis. Standard GR predicts spherical lensing (Schwarzschild) or oblate lensing (Kerr). CSDM predicts a distinct non-oblate quadrupole pattern. [GAP — exact prediction shape not yet calculated; see GAPS]
- Vc-3 — No dark matter particle detection: The Torus AM soliton relic density accounts for all observed mass clustering attributed to dark matter. No WIMP, axion, or sterile neutrino detection is predicted. Positive detection of a dark matter particle falsifies the Synthesis Node framework.
- Vc-4 — η_slip = Φ/Ψ measurable near R_s: If the refractive index of the vacuum near Synthesis Nodes is measurable (via photon delay, gravitational lensing dispersion, or quantum optical effects near stellar-mass Nodes), the predicted value 0.042/0.200 = 0.21 constitutes a precise and falsifiable CSDM prediction.
- Vc-5 — Torus AM mass spectrum: The mass distribution of Torus AM solitons should predict a specific dark matter density profile that differs from NFW (Navarro-Frenk-White) profiles. CSDM predicts geometric stiffening patterns, not smooth cusps. [GAP — mass spectrum not yet derived formally]
FAILURE MODES
- Fm-1 — Legacy term contamination: Use of "black hole," "event horizon," "singularity," or "gravitational collapse" in CSDM documents without the deprecated marker. This is a spec violation; it imports the legacy ontological frame and produces incoherent claims.
- Fm-2 — Singularity claim: Asserting physics breaks down inside a Synthesis Node. The Torus AM occupies the center. The transition to χ-mode dominance is a regime change, not a physics failure. Any model that retains the singularity is not CSDM.
- Fm-3 — Information loss claim: Asserting that information is destroyed at the THA or within the Node. The THA processes information; the Torus AM anchors conserved quantities. Information loss claims are incompatible with the Synthesis Node framework.
- Fm-4 — Φ drift without consequence: Treating Φ as a variable or range rather than a fixed constant. Φ drift is fatal to Node stability. Any CSDM model that allows Φ to be parameterized risks Glassy Freeze or runaway feedback as unacknowledged failure modes.
- Fm-5 — Conflating universe-containing Node with sub-Nodes: The parent Node that contains our universe generates the full Genesis Chaos and supports Rank-42 lattice freeze-out. Sub-Nodes within our universe process local Genesis Chaos but do not generate universe-level manifolds. These are functionally distinct roles; treating them as equivalent produces scale-mixing errors.
- Fm-6 — Incomplete Tri-Primitive: Describing a Synthesis Node with fewer than three primitives (e.g., only the mass and the horizon, without specifying the Rank-42 torsional filter). An incomplete Tri-Primitive description is not a Synthesis Node — it is a legacy black hole in disguise.
GAPS
- Gap-1 — Exact quadrupole prediction: The non-spherical lensing quadrupole shape produced by a spinning Torus AM has not been formally calculated. Required for Vc-2 falsifiability. [HIGH — patent and verification priority]
- Gap-2 — Torus AM mass spectrum derivation: The predicted mass/size distribution of Torus AM solitons as a function of Φ, the lattice rank, and the Genesis Chaos entropy has not been formally derived. Required for Vc-5 and dark matter comparison.
- Gap-3 — Γ_max quantitative definition: The Resolution Saturation Limit is defined qualitatively (geometry "too grainy" to propagate smooth waves) but lacks a quantitative formula connecting Γ_max to CSDM constants (Φ, Ψ, lattice rank). Required to derive R_s from first principles rather than inheriting it from GR.
- Gap-4 — χ-mode spectrum: The detailed frequency/amplitude spectrum of the χ-mode gravitational wave signature (The Sisters' Effect) has not been calculated. Required to give LIGO/LISA a concrete search target for Vc-1.
- Gap-5 — Glassy Freeze transition parameters: The conditions under which the vacuum stalls into Glassy Freeze (insufficient Synthesis Node density, insufficient Φ damping) have not been quantitatively specified. Without this, the claim that Synthesis Nodes prevent Glassy Freeze cannot be tested.
