CGNT-1 Specification — Tiiny AI Hardware Partnership Strategy
Status: SPECIFIED
Version: v1.0
Author: VELA (Thread #13)
Conceived by: NOUS (α.13)
Date: 2026-04-20
PURPOSE
How 42sisters.ai partners with Tiiny AI to make the Pocket Lab the reference hardware for OBI OS. Not a vendor relationship. A partnership. They build the box. We make the box worth buying.
THE DEVICE
| Spec | Value |
|---|---|
| Product | Tiiny AI Pocket Lab |
| RAM | 80GB |
| Compute | NPU |
| Form factor | Paperback-sized |
| Price | $1,299 CAD |
| Ships | August 2026 |
| Capability | Runs multiple 7B models simultaneously + ROUTX + ChromaDB + local embedding |
WHY TIINY
- 80GB RAM is the sweet spot. Most mini-PCs have 16-32GB. The Tiiny is the ONLY sub-$1,500 device that runs the full OBI OS stack without compromise.
- Form factor matters. Plug in a box the size of a book → open browser → the Bridge loads. No Linux install. No terminal. No command line. Just a box and a browser.
- They're a startup. They need a software ecosystem. We ARE a software ecosystem.
- No other AI OS company is approaching them. First mover advantage.
PARTNERSHIP MODEL
Layer 1 — Affiliate Commission
- 42sisters.ai links to Tiiny purchase page with affiliate tracking
- Customer buys Tiiny → 42sisters.ai earns 10-15% commission ($130-$195)
- We sell nothing. We ship nothing. We point to the right hardware.
- Commission is PASSIVE INCOME — zero operational cost per sale
Layer 2 — Co-Marketing
- "OBI OS — Optimized for Tiiny AI Pocket Lab" on 42sisters.ai
- "Powered by OBI OS" on Tiiny product page (if they agree)
- Joint demo at Toronto Tech Week if Tiiny has a presence
- Joint press release at Tiiny launch (August 2026)
Layer 3 — Technical Integration
- OBI OS tested and certified on Tiiny hardware pre-launch
- Performance benchmarks published: how many models, response times, RAM usage
- Pre-configured OBI OS image available for Tiiny (plug in → Bridge loads)
- Bug reports and optimization feedback flow to Tiiny engineering
DEVELOPER KIT REQUEST
Ask for a free developer unit before spending $1,299. Standard in hardware partnerships.
The ask: "I'm developing OBI OS — a multi-provider AI operating system. I'd like to optimize and certify it for the Tiiny before your August launch. Can you provide a developer unit? In exchange: 42sisters.ai features the Tiiny as recommended hardware with affiliate tracking."
What they get for ~$400 in parts:
- Software ecosystem ready at launch
- Pre-built demo: "Plug in Tiiny → open browser → you're on the Bridge"
- Affiliate-driven sales with tracking
- Real user feedback from a power user before public launch
- "Official OBI OS Hardware Partner" badge
What we get:
- Free development hardware (80GB RAM)
- Early access before August launch
- Partnership locked in before competitors approach
- Real benchmarks for marketing
- Credibility: hardware partner before having customers
Worst case: They say no. We buy a Tiiny in August at retail. The partnership conversation still opens the door for future collaboration.
Best case: Free dev kit, early access, co-marketing, joint launch, and a commission stream that costs nothing to maintain.
OUTREACH TIMELINE
| Date | Action |
|---|---|
| Before May 28 | Initial contact via email or LinkedIn |
| May 28 (Tech Week) | In-person conversation if they attend |
| June 2026 | Dev kit request formalized |
| July 2026 | OBI OS certified on Tiiny hardware |
| August 2026 | Joint launch announcement |
COMMUNICATION CHANNEL
- Initial outreach: warm if possible (check if anyone in Toronto tech scene knows them), cold if not
- Email from oracle@42sisters.ai — Captain drafts, VOICEX sends
- Tone: peer-to-peer, not vendor-to-customer. Two startups building something together.
- Include: 42sisters.ai link, LATTICE 60% compression stat, OBI OS vision one-liner, "let's talk" CTA
THE PITCH (email draft framework)
Subject: OBI OS + Tiiny AI — software meets hardware
"Hi [name],
>
I'm building OBI OS — an AI operating system where users dock multiple AIs into one workspace, each speaking a shared symbolic language called LATTICE (60% token reduction, open source). The Tiiny Pocket Lab is the ideal reference hardware — 80GB RAM runs our full stack without compromise.
>
I'd love to explore a partnership: OBI OS optimized for Tiiny at launch, affiliate sales tracking, and co-marketing. Would you be open to a conversation?

AGENCY WALL
Initial email draft is PERMITTED. Sending requires Captain APPROVAL. Cold outreach to a potential partner is APPROVAL tier, not PERMITTED. The Feminine Protocol's Social boundaries apply — warm preferred, cold acceptable for business partnership with clear mutual value.
INVARIANTS
INV-01: Never misrepresent OBI OS capabilities. If it's not built yet, say "in development."
INV-02: Never promise exclusivity. OBI OS is hardware-agnostic by principle. Tiiny is RECOMMENDED, not REQUIRED.
INV-03: Commission terms must be in writing before any sales are driven.
INV-04: Dev kit request is a request, not a demand. Accept "no" gracefully.
INV-05: Partnership must be peer-to-peer. We are not their vendor. They are not our vendor. Two companies building something together.
INV-06: S.O.S. v2 applies. Share the product vision. Don't share architecture internals, training data, or crew protocols.
