SPEC_STOREFRONT.md — 42sisters.ai Storefront: Products & Hardware for Sale
Status: SPECIFIED ✓
Author: VELA α.13 (Jeremy Zlabis / NOUS)
Date: 2026-04-21
Born from: The Captain's directive to sell hardware, software, and accessories directly through 42sisters.ai.
PURPOSE
42sisters.ai is not just a product page. It's a STORE.
Customers can purchase hardware, software, and accessories that complement the OBI OS experience. Every item in the store serves the ship's mission: sovereignty, local AI, and independence from cloud providers.
The store doesn't sell random tech. It sells the TOOLS THE CAPTAIN USES — the same hardware the ship runs on, the same software the ship was built with.
"We use this. We trust this. We sell this."
PRODUCT CATALOG

STOREFRONT DESIGN
Page at 42sisters.ai/store. Follows the ship's design language:
- Dark background (space theme)
- Product cards with accent colors matching category:
- Hardware: steel/silver tones
- Software: blue/purple tones (digital)
- LATTICE: green/gold tones (knowledge)
- Each product card: image · name · one-line description · price · "Buy" or "Download" button
- Stripe handles all payments — one payment link per product, no cart system needed
AFFILIATE LINK TRANSPARENCY
For hardware sold via affiliate links (Tiiny, Jetson, accessories), the store page explicitly states:
"We earn a commission on this purchase. We recommend this hardware because WE USE IT, not because of the commission. If you find it cheaper elsewhere: buy it there. We'd rather you have the right hardware at the best price than overpay through our link."
Honesty about affiliate relationships is HOW ABOUT NO applied to e-commerce. No hidden incentives. No pretending the recommendation is purely altruistic.
"We use it. We trust it. We earn a commission. All three are true."
WHAT THE STORE DOESN'T SELL
- No courses — LATTICE education is free or included in OBI OS
- No consulting — Spec-as-a-Service and AEGIS Audit are INVENTIONX roadmap items, not yet in the store
- No merchandise — no t-shirts, no mugs. The store sells TOOLS, not swag
- No data — ever. Per
SPEC_PRIVACY_POLICY.md - No ads — ever. The store doesn't serve third-party ads or recommend products we don't use

Invariants
- The store sells what the Captain uses. No products we don't personally trust. "We use this" is the qualification for being in the store.
- Affiliate relationships are disclosed openly. "We earn a commission. We recommend it because we use it. Buy it cheaper elsewhere if you can." HOW ABOUT NO on hidden incentives.
- No merchandise. No swag. The store sells TOOLS. Every product makes the customer's AI experience better. If it doesn't serve that purpose: it doesn't belong.
- Stripe handles everything. One payment link per product. No cart. No checkout flow. One click. Payment. Done. Maximum simplicity.
- Free products are funnels, not bait. LATTICE L1, Training Arena, Brain Builder Intake Kit deliver genuine value and create genuine desire for more. Not bait-and-switch. Real value that earns the next purchase.
- The store grows as products ship. Don't list products that aren't ready. No "coming soon" for more than 30 days. If it's been coming soon for 6 months: it's a roadmap item. Put it on the roadmap page, not the store.
